Of the Iberian pigs, the finest quality hams come from those that have been reared free-range in the mountains and fed exclusively on acorns (bellota). These live a life of luxury rooting about in oak forests until the day of their demise and it is the acorns which gives them their unique flavour. Peter Snow at Bellotta supplies us with this quality product.

| From Australia we stock what has become a real local success story, Lowe family wines. Jane Wilson, a native of Oban, and her husband David Lowe produce a most impressive range of wines with a distinctly European leaning from their Mudgee, New South Wales base. Jane makes the reds, David the whites. Their 2003 won the International Zinfandel Trophy at the 2005 International Wine Challenge (9000 entries) out-doing the Califorian Zin Kings. |
